Introduction to Narrative Therapy & Community Workshops/Uganda-2023

Event Overview

Introduction
The narrative Therapy approach is a profound way to elicit individuals preferred stories, and identities while enabling people to understand their lives and the world they live in and take individual and collective actions to better their lives.
This therapeutic approach improves many aspects of physical, Social, Emotional and cognitive or mental health. It creates peace and homonyms in an excellent way to relieve hardships such as stress, and anxiety and reduce negative conclusions about self and nature resilience, self-esteem and social connections.
In response to the demand to extend this knowledge to other communities in Uganda, there are suggestions to organize 5 days of workshops across the different regions in the country in partnership with like-minded organizations this year 2023.

Also, a conference will be organized  under the theme "Narrative Practices: Initiatives, Stories and Skill Building"

Dates of Conference: 2nd- 6th January 2024
